Grafta grew up in the heart of LONDON CITY in Hackney. He 1st started rapping at the age of
16 with a team he started called TARGET FAMILY with some school friends. They started a
recording label T.I.C meaning TALK IS CHEAP RECORDS. Together they produced all types
of music just to finding themselves and developing their unique style. It didnt last long, as
some lost the passion for music an decided to go their own ways.....
Grafta knew he had a talent and used to find himself free-styling daily with friends from the
local area, it was during that period he found name G.R.A.F.T.A meaning "GO RIGHT AND
FIND THEM ASSETS". He then decided to again start up a label in 2009 called So Focused
Records. With a lot of doubters and hate building around Grafta he began creating music
with a better flow as he now learned to make beats for himself to rap on.
Independently Grafta worked with some of the cream of artists in the U.K. Producers like
SOLLY DEMOUS from Well Connected Music UK and HOT PROPERTY. Working and
collaborating gave himmuch needed confidence and the drive for the more. It was at that
point Grafta started really pushing his music out there. With a newly found belief that he
truly has what it takes to rap with the best Grafta joined together with his cousin The Only
D.2.1. founder of the imfamous BlackMobb Entertainment. Its gonna be a big year!!!
